About the Filmmaker
Vanessa Gould studied astrophysics and architecture at Columbia University and has worked on Wall Street, at her local public radio station, and at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. She is currently working as a freelance computer programmer to fund the making of "Exploring Origami". She is also a pianist and painter. |

About the Composer
Gil Talmi is a world-renowned Emmy nominated composer whose music can be heard in a variety of films, documentaries, television programs, TV commercials, Theatre and Dance productions. Gil studied composition at UCLA with Ian Krouse and the late David Raksin and his clients have included HBO, PBS, Bravo, and Paramount. He received a "National News and Documentary Emmy Award" nomination for his work on "CBS Evening News with Dan Rather". Gil's production company, Thoughts in Grey Circles, is based in New York City. |

About the Director of Photography
Melissa Donovan is an award-winning cinematographer based in New York City. Most recently, she was a director of photography on the documentary, An Unreasonable Man, a Ralph Nader story due to be released in the winter of 2006. Donovan has shot several national commercials for Kmart, Stoneyfield Farms Yogurt, Herbal Essence, Oxygen Channel, Cartoon Network, as well as operating on spots for Verizon, Panasonic, Mountain Dew and other sponsors. |

About the Overseas Cinematographer
Philippe Bellaiche is a French cinematographer educated at the Ecole Nationale Superieure Louis Lumiere. His credits include fiction and documentary films produced by the BBC, Arte, PBS, Israel Channel 2, and Israel Channel 8 and directed by Amos Gitai, Nurith Aviv, Samir, Michel Khleifi, and academy award winner Kevin MacDonald, among others. He teaches film at Tel Aviv University, Camera Obscura, and Sam Spiegel. |
